Abstract:
To enhance the holdout characteristics of a base panel for cardboard packaging.
A base panel has a first granular mineral layer 4 composed of a granular mineral, the cardboard layer 6 arranged inside the first granular mineral layer 4, the second granular mineral layer 8 arranged inside the cardboard layer 6 and composed of a granular mineral containing a colloidal copolymer as a binder for improving holdout and the barrier layer 10 arranged inside the second granular mineral layer 8.
