Abstract:
To provide a base paper for deep drawing that has low environmental load, has high extensibility, prevents cracking in the paper surface during deep drawing, and has high shape reproducibility, and a deep-drawn product including the same.SOLUTION: Base paper for deep drawing has a paper substrate layer composed of a paper substrate. The constituent pulp of the paper substrate has a length-weighted mean fiber length of 0.60 mm or more and 2.40 mm or less. The constituent pulp of the paper substrate has a water-holding capacity of 115% or more. The base paper has elongations at break of 3.0% or more in the longitudinal direction and the transverse direction, respectively, and the geometric mean of the elongations at break in the longitudinal direction and the transverse direction is 4.0% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
