Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station capable of returning frame timing to ideal timing even if the frame timing is deviated by a hold-over circuit while a base station of an air synchronization destination is lost, and an air synchronization method.SOLUTION: The base station comprises: a GPS synchronization control part 118; a hold-over circuit 116; an air synchronization control part 120; a timing difference acquisition part 122 for acquiring a frame timing difference between each peripheral base station and the base station per set by searching for a plurality of peripheral base stations when starting air synchronization; and a storage part for storing a timing difference list 126 storing the timing difference between each peripheral base station and the base station per se. When air synchronization with a first synchronization object station is made impossible, the air synchronization control part performs air synchronization on a second synchronization object station by using the timing difference from the second synchronization object station stored on the timing difference list.
