Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in communication quality after transition of a frequency band when MIMO communication selecting an MCS for each sub-stream is combined with wireless communication using part of a frequency band shared with another system.SOLUTION: A frequency selection unit 108 determines that transition of a frequency band is necessary if an interference level is equal to or more than a first threshold value. An MCS selection unit 109 selects an MCS applied to each sub-stream from a mobile station 300 on the basis of a measurement value of a signal level during communication with the mobile station 300. At a time of frequency transition, however, the MCS selection unit 109 selects the lowest MCS from MCSs of respective sub-streams before frequency transition, and applies the selected MCS to all sub-streams right after frequency transition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
