To provide a base station, a communication system, and a communication method that can suppress reduction in throughput.SOLUTION: A base station includes: a use channel information acquisition unit 114 that acquires first use channel information transmitted from another base station and indicating a first use channel used for transmitting and receiving data frames with the other base station; a use channel determination unit 115 that determines that a channel belonging to any one frequency band W52, W53, or W56, different from the first use channel, among the frequency bands W52, W53, and W56 is a second use channel used for transmitting and receiving data frames with the other base station; and a use channel notification unit 116 that transmits the use channel information indicating the determined use channel to the other base station.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
