To provide means for allowing each terminal to learn a position of a desired signal in a signal vector acquired after a combination when signals received by a plurality of receiving antennas of each terminal are MMSE combined.
A base station 100 receives propagation path information between a transmission antenna 16 and spatial multiplex object antennas of a terminal device from the terminal device by a reception antenna 23. A transmission weight calculation unit 19 calculates a transmission weight for spatial multiplex transmission to the terminal device based on the received propagation path information. Transmission weight multiplication units 12 and 18 multiply an information signal to be spatial multiplexed and transmitted to each terminal device by the transmission weight. A signal multiplex unit 13 multiplexes the information signal multiplied by the transmission weight and demodulation specific information specifying the information signal in which each terminal device should demodulate.
