Abstract:
To provide a base tile mechanically and electrically connecting a photovoltaic tile assembly also fulfilling a role of a cover for a roof.
The base tile 100 includes a base material 102 with a first surface 104 and an electrical connection system supported with the base material 102. The electrical connection system includes a plurality of conductive posts. Each post is extended towards the first surface 104 of the base material 102 from the bottom surface 112 of the base tile 100. A free end of each post can be connected to the photovoltaic tile electrically and mechanically. The electrical connection system also includes electro-conductive bodies electrically connecting the posts together.
