To contrive to improve functions such as feeding of paper, its stacking, classification and the like by a method wherein the interior of a base locating below a printer has a reinforcing paper feeding unit and a stacker unit for accepting a large number of paper or envelops and further is equipped with a selectively paper feeding means.
A printer P is equipped with a paper sorting or classifying device M. In this case, within a base B, a paper feeding device F and a paper stcker device S are arranged so as to position below the printer P. Further, a paper accepting tray R is provided within the base. Thus, a compact unit, which can process a large amount of papers in the various action modes of the printer P. In addition, the paper feeding device F and the paper stacker device S are so constituted as to have a function, which supports a tray retaining papers to be fed with a feed roller FR to the printer and transfers the tray upwards, and a function, which supports papers fed with a feed roller SR and, at the same time, lowers the papers.
