SINTERED MATERIAL EXCELLENT IN MACHINABILITY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3153066
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a sintered material the machinability of which has been improved without lowering the hardness and strength, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A ferrous material powder obtained by mixing Co powder, Cu powder or Ni powder, etc., is mixed with ≤3wt.% of ≥1 kind among sepiolite, attapulgite and zeolite powders in total or ≤3wt.% of ≥1 kind among sericite, talc and BN powders in total or ≤1wt.% of ≤0.5% of ≥1 kind among sepiolite and attapulgite powders in total, and the mixture is sintered by a conventional method.
