PURPOSE: The titled bathing agent or cosmetic, obtained by including an aromatic essential oil ingredient having particularly high volatility, e.g. HINOKI essential oil, etc., using a cyclic dextrin and containing the resultant clathrate, having improved stability as well as preservation quality and obtainable as powder without scattering property.
CONSTITUTION: A bathing agent or cosmetic obtained by forming a clathrate from a volatile liquid oil prepared by steam distillation of trees, leaves, branches and roots HINOKI (Chamaecyparis obtusa Endl.), Crysptomaeria japonica D. Don, Thujopsis dolabrata Sieb. et Zucc., leaves of HINOKI, etc., or various essential oils and aromatic ingredients isolated from the essential oils as well as other animal or plant-derived natural perfume obtained by steam distillation or volatile synthetic perfume using cyclic dextrin and used for bathing or cosmetic dissolved in use. The above-mentioned clathrate becomes odorless powder and the aromatic ingredients are not volatilized unless dissolved by adding water. Direct tableting thereof can be carried out.
USE: Usable also as medicines for internal use.
