Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bathing material composition capable of improving skin itching and obtaining smooth skin feeling by combining an extract of seeds of Avena sativa Linne by using a specific solvent with glycerol and a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether phosphoric acid salt.
SOLUTION: This bathing material composition contains (A) an extract of seeds of Avena sativa Linne extracted by using water and/or a water soluble organic solvent (preferably ethanol, butanol, propylene glycol and 1,3-butylene glycol), (B) glycerol and (C) a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether phosphoric acid salt. The amount of the component A to be added to the composition is preferably that obtained by extracting 0.001-1000g of powdery source of seeds of Avena sativa Linne based on 150-200l bath water. It is preferable to blend 0.1-50wt.% of the component B and 0.01-20wt.% of the component C.
