In this bathroom unit 1 to which an optical duct for guiding light indoors from the outdoors is to be connected, a ceiling 4 is composed of two panel materials 5 and 6. The panel material 5 is arranged on the side of the bathtub 2, and the panel material 6 is arranged on the side of the washing place 3. An exhaust port 11 and a light-emitting port 13 are formed in the panel material 5, and an inspection hole 5 is formed in the central portion of the panel material 6. The light-emitting port 13 is an opening for emitting the light which is guided in by the optical duct. The exhaust port 11 and a light-emitting port 13 are arranged along the longitudinal direction of the panel material 5; the exhaust port 11 is arranged on the head side of the bathtub 2; and the light-emitting port 13 is arranged on the foot side of the bathtub 2.
