This battery charger comprises: a real time clock for informing a current date or a command of the date and time; a charging sub system connected to the rechargeable battery; a memory sub system; a list of an event stored in the memory sub system, including the date and the time for each event of the list or each generation information which indicate the date of the generation; a controller for controlling the charging sub system; and a computer program for operating event driving charge of the rechargeable battery corresponding to a forthcoming event as one of elements of the list of the event during operation by the controller.
