Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the SOC of a battery cell from falling below the lower limit, in a battery control system in which some battery cells of a battery module for vehicle are used for power supply to both dynamoelectric machine for running and accessory load.SOLUTION: A battery control system includes: a plurality of DC/DC converters connected, respectively, to battery cells 18a, 18b of a battery module, and boosting and outputting the voltage of the battery cells; and a controller for controlling the SOC of each battery cell individually by controlling the operation of each converter. The plurality of converters are connected in series to each other, and connected to a dynamoelectric machine for running. Only an accessory shared cell 18b, i.e., some of a plurality of battery cells, can supply power to the low voltage accessory load. When the SOC of the accessory shared cell is lower than the SOC of the remaining battery cells 18a, the controller performs control so that the output magnification of the accessory shared cell will be less than 1 during discharge, with reference to the remaining battery cells.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
