Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a determination that a battery is not installed properly.SOLUTION: The battery attachment/detachment device has a device side striker. The battery has a first latch fixed to the striker of a vehicle at a fixed position and releasing the fixation with the striker at a release position. Furthermore, the battery has a second latch that is engaged with the device side striker when the first latch is at a position different from the fixed position, and the engagement of the second latch with the device side striker is released when the first latch is in the fixed position. The battery attachment/detachment device causes a control device to determine that the battery is not normally attached, as a result of the device side striker being withdrawn from an insertion portion by the load generated in the device side striker.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
