Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely utilize both two downlink sound signal lines (71, 72) for other use than power transmission while receiving power necessary for operation from a master device, represented by a smart phone, and to simultaneously enable the use of one uplink sound signal line (8) to thereby achieve an advanced peripheral function.SOLUTION: A peripheral device is operated using a bias voltage which is supplied from the master device side through a third plug electrode (P3) and a fourth plug electrode (P4) of a 4-pole phone plug (P). The peripheral device includes a peripheral function achievement part (34) which achieves a predetermined function as a peripheral device using sound signal input lines (71, 72), which communicate to a first plug electrode (P1) and/or a second plug electrode (P2), and/or a sound signal output line (8) which communicates to the third plug electrode (P3).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
