Abstract:
To provide a battery management device that corrects SOC of a battery by discharging the battery into a low SOC.SOLUTION: A battery management device 100 manages a battery 2 of a fuel-cell-powered vehicle V. The battery management device 100 comprises: an SOC estimating part 11 that estimates SOC of the battery 2; a correction necessity determining part 13 that determines necessity for an error correction of the estimated SOC; and a discharge control part 14 that controls discharge of the battery 2. The discharge control part 14, when it is determined that error correction of SOC of the battery is necessary, discharges the battery 2 so that the battery is brought into a low SOC, by supplying electricity of the battery 2 to a brake register 4 or the like. The SOC estimating part 11 corrects an estimate value of SOC of the battery 2 discharged into the low SOC.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
