Abstract:
To provide a battery in which a group of electrode tabs is less likely to be damaged.SOLUTION: A battery 1 comprises an exterior body 12, a sealing plate 14, an electrode body 20, an electrode body holder 29, a positive electrode terminal 30, and a negative electrode terminal 40, a positive electrode current collector, and a negative electrode current collector. The electrode body 20 has a pair of first side surfaces 20a. In first and second end portions in a surface direction of the first side surfaces, of the electrode body 20, there are provided a positive electrode tab group 23 including a plurality of positive electrode tabs protruding from the end portions and a negative electrode tab group 25 including a plurality of negative electrode tabs. A tip of each of electrode tabs of the positive electrode tab group 23 and the negative electrode tab group 25 is bent, and a portion of the bent electrode tab is bonded to a current collector of the same electrode. The electrode body 20 is firmly fixed to an inner wall surface of the electrode body holder 29.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
