Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery module charger and a battery module charging method, having reduced voltage adjustment time of a battery module at the exchange thereof.SOLUTION: The battery module charger includes: a plurality of battery modules 11 constituted by secondary batteries; a substitution module which acts in place of one battery module 11 among the plurality of battery modules 11, and is connected to another battery module 11 among the plurality of battery modules 11; and a charge controller 20 which outputs power to the other battery module 11 and the substitution module to control the other battery module 11. The substitution module, on receiving power supplied from the other power source than the plurality of battery modules 11, outputs a voltage to the other battery module 11.
