Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack in which sensors and circuits required for a stable system operation can be used in common, and a hybrid vehicle including the battery pack.SOLUTION: A battery pack of an embodiment includes: a main battery comprising a plurality of battery cells; a power conversion unit configured to convert a level of a voltage output from the main battery; a main relay unit provided between the main battery and the power conversion unit to control a connection between the main battery and the power conversion unit; and control means configured to monitor a state of the main battery and control the operation of the power conversion unit. The control means includes means for measuring voltage, current and temperature values of the main battery and means for outputting a gate signal for controlling the operation of the power conversion unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
