To provide an inexpensive power tool system, its battery pack and a power tool with a simple constitution, having both functions of controlling an electric current of a motor of the power tool and preventing overdischarge of the battery pack.
This power tool has a pair of power source input terminals connected to a pair of power source output terminals of the battery pack, a discharge stopping command signal input terminal for inputting a discharge stopping command signal of the battery pack for outputting the discharge stopping command signal when any one of voltages of respective battery cells is lower than a first value, the motor and a semiconductor switching element connected in series to the pair of power source input terminals, an operation part, and a control part for stopping the semiconductor switching element, when inputting the discharge stopping command signal by controlling the semiconductor switching element by a motor control signal, and when inputting no discharge stopping command signal by generating the motor control signal on the basis of a command from operation.
