Abstract:
To provide a packaging material for a battery having excellent insulation properties.SOLUTION: A packaging material for a battery is formed of a laminate including at least a base material layer, a metal layer, an adhesive layer, and a heat-sealing resin layer in this order, and the adhesive layer has a logarithmic decrement rate ΔE1 at 80°C in rigid pendulum measurement of 0.08 or less. The melting point of the adhesive layer may be 140°C or higher, and the heat-sealing resin layer may have a logarithmic decrement rate ΔE2 at 80°C in the rigid pendulum measurement of 0.04 or higher, and the ratio (ΔE2/ΔE1) between the logarithmic decrement rate ΔE1 and the logarithmic decrement rate ΔE2 may be in the range of 0.5 or more and 4.0 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
