Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a device, by which a battery can be attached and detached without a large-scale equipment such as a lift installed by dipping down the floor surface of a factory.

CONSTITUTION: A battery removing device comprises a battery rack 1 provided in such a manner as to store one or more batteries BT and in such a manner as to be carried in and out in the horizontal direction of a vehicle 4 to the lower position of a battery install part 40 of the vehicle 4, and a lifting tool 2 which has an engaging part 24 which can be engaged with the battery rack 1 in the vertical direction of the vehicle 4 and is installed on the vehicle in such a manner as to be elevated in the vertical direction of the vehicle 4. The battery rack 1 is carried in below the battery installation part 40 of the vehicle, and the lifting tool 2 and the battery rack 1 are engaged with each other in the vertical direction of the vehicle. After that, the lifting tool 2 is lifted by an elevating jig 3 and a jack 6 to take the battery rack 1 in the battery installation part 40.
