Abstract:
To provide a battery separator superior in antistatic property and also superior in fine porosity.
The battery separator contains a fine porous polyolefin film provided with 0.1 to 50 weight% of block copolymer containing polyether ester amide monomer. Polyolefin is selected from polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutylene, polymethylpentene, a mixture of the above, and a copolymer of the above. Porosity rate is within the range of 10 to 90% and pore diameter is within the range of 0.005 to 1.5 microns.
