To allow for estimating a battery state including various anomalies.SOLUTION: A battery state estimation device (trained heat transfer structure estimation model 302) for estimating a state of a battery pack 100 comprising a plurality of battery cells 101 is provided, the device being configured to allow for deriving, for example, an initial state of the battery pack 100 and a heat transfer structural pattern after operation on the basis of temperatures detected by temperature sensors 111-114 of the battery pack 100 and a result of mechanical learning on a relationship between detected temperatures and the heat transfer structural pattern of the battery pack 100, and estimating points and degrees of anomalies by comparing the initial sate and the heat transfer structural pattern.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
