Abstract:
To provide a battery state monitoring device capable of accurately grasping the battery state, a saturation polarization detection method useful for accurately grasping the charging state of the battery, and a chargeable capacity detection method.
A microcomputer 23 monitors a voltage drop portion caused by an internal resistance when a terminal voltage drop portion caused by polarization generated at the discharge time is saturated according to discharge of the battery, and a dischargeable capacity corresponding to a value determined by subtracting the voltage drop from a charging capacity of the battery 13, based on outputs from a current sensor 15 and a voltage sensor 17.
