Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery terminal ensuring reliable pressure fixing by reducing space occupied by the battery terminal, not only in the plan view but also in the side view, thereby achieving space saving, and which can be manufactured inexpensively.SOLUTION: A battery terminal consists of a post contact body 11 consisting of a contact body 12 to be fitted to a battery post 3 and an electric machine component connection 21, and a post fastener 31 that fastens the contact body and has a substantially same height as the battery post. A gap is formed in the contact body 12 so that the inside diameter can be increased or decreased, and fastening and fixing are possible by an engaged portion 19 formed on the surface thereof and an engaging portion 34 formed on the post fastener 31.
