Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which stably manufactures a bead core in which a bead wire is properly aligned, and does not cause the lowering of productivity.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a bead wire manufactures a bead wire which is formed by coating rubber on an external peripheral face of a steel wire by extruding the rubber while making the steel wire pass to a die plate of a rubber extruder. A temperature of the steel wire before passage to the rubber extruder is heated to a temperature not lower than 50°C and lower than 90°C, a temperature of the rubber in the rubber extruder is controlled so that a temperature of the rubber of the bead wire after the extrusion becomes not lower than 60°C and lower than 110°C, and a heating temperature of the steel wire and the temperature of the rubber in the rubber extruder are controlled so that a temperature difference between the temperature of the rubber of the bead wire after the extrusion and the temperature of the steel wire before passage to the rubber extruder becomes not lower than 10°C and lower than 20°C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
