Abstract:
To improve a service life of a bearing component.SOLUTION: A bearing component has on its surface a region on which a load acts when the bearing component is used. Here, equivalent strain in a surface layer region from the surface of the region on which the load acts to a predetermined depth is larger than equivalent strain in a non-surface layer region other than the surface layer region. The equivalent strain in the surface layer region is preferably 0.3 or more and 2.0 or less. The equivalent strain in the non-surface layer region is preferably less than 0.3. The predetermined depth defining the surface layer region is preferably 500 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
