Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high precise and simple installation of a rotation detecting device and suppression of the wasteful increase in a cost occasioned by the installation thereof in a bearing device for axle.
SOLUTION: In the bearing device for the axle attached with a double row rolling bearing 2, a constant velocity joint 3, and a rotation detecting device 4 on a hub wheel, a seal ring 8 is mounted on the shoulder part on the two inner sides of an outer wheel 21 of the double row rolling bearing 2, a sensor 41 of the rotation detecting device 4 is mounted on the seal ring 8 and a pulser ring 42 of the rotation detecting device 4 is mounted on a bowl shaped part 35 of an outer ring 31 of the constant velocity joint 3. This constitution eliminates a need for high-precise machining of various portions as in a conventional example when the sensor 41 and the pulser ring 42 are positioned with high precision for installation.
