Title:
BEARING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001012484
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To improve slip-off resistance by a caulked part in a bearing device.

In this bearing device with a rolling bearing fixed in a slip-off prevented state by caulking the free end of a shaft body to which the rolling bearing is externally mounted, a step part 21a is provided at the outer end face of a bearing inner ring 21. When the free end of the shaft body is caulked by rolling, a caulked part 3 deformed by caulking is thereby pressed hard to the bottom of the step part 21a of the outer end face of the inner ring 21, and the caulked part 3 eats into the step part 21a. The caulked part 3 can thereby come in close contact with the outer end face of the inner ring 21, so that the caulked part 3 does not easily spring back after caulked, which results in increasing the slip-off resistance of the rolling bearing compared to a conventional example.
