To provide a bearing device which easily adjusts internal clearance and pre-load of a rolling bearing in a state of mounting the rolling bearing on a rotating shaft.

In the bearing device having rolling bearings A1, A1 comprising: bearing rings 2a, 2b, 4a, 4b rotatably supporting the rotating shaft S, and relatively rotatably disposed in opposition to each other; a plurality of rolling elements 6a, 6b rollably assembled between the bearing rings; and cages 12a, 12b for rotatably holding the plurality of rolling elements, the bearing device is provided with an adjusting mechanism C for axially relatively moving the bearing ring on one side of the bearing to the bearing ring of the other side in a state of mounting the rolling bearings on the rotating shaft for supporting the rotating shaft.
