PURPOSE: To suppress the vibration of a shaft in the direction of thrust and prevent uncomfortable sound by a method wherein at least one of the thrust receiving parts of the end of bearing is constituted of a steel ball receiving plate, made by a rigid body, and a thrust washer of an elastic body for suppressing a shock to limit the maximum thrust.

CONSTITUTION: In a shaft end bearing 2, a steel ball 4 is forced or inserted into an armature shaft 3 and the part of the steel ball is projected from the tip end of the armature shaft 3. A steel ball receiving plate 6 and a thrust washer 5, made by the elastic body of rubber or the like, are constituted in a gear case 1 to suppress the maximum thrust so as to be less than 0.3mm. According to this method, vibration of the shaft 3 in the direction of the thrust may be suppressed and uncomfortable sound may be prevented.
