Title:
BEARING FOR IN-BATH ROLL OF HOT DIP COATING TANK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005232578
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide a bearing for an in-bath roll which is enhanced in durability by making it possible to stably rotate the in-bath roll disposed within a molten metal bath of a hot dip coating tank and suppressing wear and crack.
The bearing for the in-bath roll is provided with a through-hole to be inserted with a sleeve in a ceramic sintered compact and the ratio L/D of the inner diameter D (mm) of the through-hole and the length L (mm) in the central axial direction of the through-hole of the sintered ceramic compact satisfies ≥1.0 and the ratio T/D of the inner diameter D (mm) of the through-hole and the thickness T (mm) in the radial direction of the through-hole of the sintered ceramic compact satisfies ≥0.3.
