Abstract:
To provide a bearing member including a polymer coating having improved characteristics.
The bearing member (1) comprises: a metallic support body (2), a bearing metal layer (3) arranged above the metallic support body (2); and a polymer layer (4) arranged above the bearing metal layer (3). The polymer layer (4) is made of a polyimide resin, molybdenum sulphide (MoS2), and graphite. The proportion of the polyimide resin in the polymer layer (4) is selected from a range from a lower-limit value of 60% to an upper-limit value of 80%, the proportion of MoS2is selected from a range of a lower-limit value of 15% and an upper-limit value of 25%, and the proportion of graphite is selected from a range of a lower-limit value of 5% and an upper-limit value of 15%.
