Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enclose emergency oil feeding means in a power plant interior by feeding lubricating oil in an auxiliary oil tank to a bearing by gas pressure of a compressed gas tank when the oil feed to the bearing from a lubricating oil device is stopped. CONSTITUTION:In bearing oil feed equipment, a lubricating oil device 3 does not function due to a power supply loss or trouble of an electrically-driven pump 5, so that oil feed to bearings 2, 2a of a rotary electric machine 1 is stopped. Such situation is detected by suitable detection means as usually conducted to switch the ventilation direction of a vent pipe switch valve 16, whereby an auxiliary oil tank 13 and a compressed gas tank 14 communicate with each other. Thus, gas compressed by suitable compression means and stored in a compressed gas tank 14 is forced to flow out into the interior of the auxiliary oil tank 13, so that lubricating oil filled up in the auxiliary oil tank 13 is fed into bearings 2, 2a by the pressure through a flow control valve 15 by an oil feed pipe 10.
