Title:
BEARING PLATE HAVING SPHERICAL SEAT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3323431
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive, lightweight bearing plate which can match various embedded angles of an earth anchor and easily fix the earth anchor in place.
SOLUTION: A bearing plate comprises a core 101 having a hole 104 through which an earth anchor is passed from its lower surface to its upper surface and four arms 102 placed on the side faces of the core 101. A projecting spherical seat 103 is integrally molded on the upper surface of the core 101, and a rotor that fits over the projecting spherical seat 103 is placed on the projecting spherical seat 103. The earth anchor is secured to the rotor by means of the hole 104 via the core 101 and the projecting spherical seat 103. Thereby the earth anchor can be prevented from curving when secured. The bearing plate that is lighter in weight than bearing plates of the prior art can be provided by manufacturing the bearing plate not from concrete but from cast iron or steel.
