Title:
BEARING STRUCTURE OF MOTOR USING PERMANENT MAGNET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006217744
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a bearing structure of a motor that can reduce noise and elongate a service life by arranging permanent magnets at the external periphery of a bearing that supports a shaft and a rotating part or at the external periphery of a rotor, and at the external frame side of the motor, and by supporting a shaft of a bearing portion in a non-contact manner in the radial direction, and at only one point of the thrust bearing in the thrust direction, in the motor of a flat type or the like.

The annular permanent magnets 5a, 5b are attached to two points of the shaft 2 fixed to the rotor 1, and the annular permanent magnets 4a, 4b are attached to the internal periphery of the magnetic bearing 7 so as to oppose the permanent magnets attached to the two points. The permanent magnet 5b is arranged at a lower side lower than the permanent magnet 4b by an amount of a half of its thickness, and the shaft is supported in a manner of non-contact in the radial direction and at only one point of the thrust bearing, by generating a repulsive force by a magnetic force in the radial direction and in the thrust lower direction.
