Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing unit with a rotating speed detection device, capable of sufficiently securing sealing property by a cap.SOLUTION: On a part near the outer peripheral edge of a bottom plate part 52 constituting a cap 19a, a pair of protrusion parts 54 protruding inward in an axial direction is formed. Seat surface supporting parts 55 for supporting a mounting flange part 32a of a sensor holder 30a are provided to the axial inner ends of both protrusion parts 54, respectively. A nut 27a having a female screw part 64 opening inside in the axial direction and not penetrating in the axial direction in the inner peripheral face, is locked to the axial inside face of the bottom plate part 52. An O-ring 63 is installed on the axial outside face of the nut 27a to block a space between the axial outside face of the nut 27a and the axial inside face of the bottom plate part 52 over the whole periphery.
