To dry a sheet moistened by sweat or the like while keeping a lying state by putting a frame body whose at least one end is made elevatable on a mattress surface and providing a lifting mechanism for elevating at least one end of the frame body.
The frame body 5 is inserted into the middle of a mattress and the sheet and bisected to opening/closing frames 5a and 5b at the width direction center of this bed. To a moving block 10, the lifting mechanism 8 by a hydraulic jack or the like passed through the mattress to reach the tip part of the frame body 5 is mounted. Then, when the moving block 10 is moved, the lifting mechanism 8 is moved to a position near the width direction center of the bed and near the side part of the opening/closing frame 5a or 5b, the lifting mechanism 8 is operated as an arrow (b) and the part near the side part of the opening/closing frame 5a or 5b is lifted, the opening/closing frame 5b is opened upwards with a pin 6b on a left side as a center as the arrow (c.) Thus, while a patient keeps the lying state, only the sheet and the body of the patient are lifted.
