To obtain a bedding which can be used in both summer and winter, whose front surface has a characteristic uneven touch similar to or exceeding that of a towel, whose back surface is subjected to a raising processing into the blanket-like product having a sufficient heat-insulating property, and whose edges are processed into characteristic structures to give a stable touch on use as the bedding.
The front surface layer 10 of a bedding comprises thick surface wefts woven with totally eight warps consisting of seven sunk warps and a floated warp to form the front surface, and thick front wefts repeatedly woven with totally four warps consisting of three sunk warps and a floated warp to form the front surface. The back surface 13 of the bedding comprises thick back surface wefts woven with totally four warps consisting of three floated warps and a floated warps to form the back layer. The back surface wefts forming the back layer are subjected to a raising treatment after the weaving to give a contracted state in comparison with the non-raised state due to the raising processing. The lengths of the front surface wefts are shortened in comparison with those of the non-raised wefts due to the contractions of the back surface wefts to give a swollen, curved and floated state.
