Abstract:
To provide: a novel beer taste beverage which realizes an excellent flavor balance while appropriately decreasing xanthine; and a production method of a beer taste beverage which allows easy adjustment of the time of contact between a content liquid and an adsorbent and reduces the risk of filter clogging during filtering.SOLUTION: In the beer taste beverage, the xanthine content is 0.2-2.6 ppm, and the mass ratio of the isoamyl acetate content (ppm) to the total content (ppm) of isoamyl acetate and xanthine, i.e., (isoamyl acetate)/[(isoamyl acetate)+xanthine], is from 0.32 to 0.85.SELECTED DRAWING: None
