Abstract:
To provide a behavior support device for visually impaired person capable of accurately transmitting information required for behavior to a visually impaired person.SOLUTION: A behavior support device for visually impaired person comprises: a body 10 attached to a user; a depth map imaging part 20 supported to the body 10 so as to image a depth map on a front side of a user; a calculation part 40 for calculating distance information of an obstacle included in the depth map; and an output part 50 for transmitting the distance information to a user by sound or vibration. The calculation part 40 divides a region of the depth image into a center part and a peripheral part, and calculates peripheral distance information being distance information of an obstacle included in the peripheral part as information which is varied gradually, and calculates center distance information being distance information of an obstacle included in the center part, as information which is varied continuously or over more stages relative to the peripheral distance information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
