Abstract:
To solve a problem of a conventional belt cleaner whose configuration is such that it was not possible to adjust a contact state between a chip and a return belt surface while observing a scraping status, with a belt conveyor running, and to ensure safety, it was necessary to stop operation while adjusting the belt cleaner, and it was necessary to operate and stop the conveyor many times, resulting in lost production opportunities and poor adjustment.SOLUTION: There is provided a belt cleaner holding device for holding a support pipe attached to both ends of a frame. The holding device includes a cradle and a cradle base. The cradle further includes a cylindrical base cut perpendicular to an axial direction. The support pipe is clamped with a pedestal and a grip plate for fixing. The cradle base further includes vertical and horizontal plates, and by storing the cradle in a cylindrical guide fixed to the horizontal plate and moving a height adjustment bolt attached to the horizontal plate up and down, the cradle is guided with the cylindrical guide, to raise and lower the cradle and raise and lower the support pipe and belt cleaner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
