Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of loss of production opportunities and poor adjustment when it is necessary to stop operation while adjusting the belt cleaner to ensure safety, and when it is necessary to operate and stop the conveyor multiple times, as with the conventional belt cleaner installation structure, it was impossible to adjust the contact state of the tip with the surface of the belt on the returning side while observing the scraping-out state during the operation of the belt conveyor.SOLUTION: The retainer consists of a slide box on which are connected, via a main column, a-sub column, a connecting bottom plate, and a connecting side plate, a support pipe attached to both ends of the frame, and a slide plate that slides up-downwards in a slide groove provided on the slide box, and bolts for height adjustment are provided on the connecting bottom plate. The support pipe is penetrated and fixed onto the slide plate to restrict its rotation, the horizontal force and the thrust force of the belt on the returning side can be restricted by the slide plate and the slide groove, and even during conveyer operating, it has become possible to adjust the scraping-out of the belt cleaner by operating the height adjustment bolts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
