PURPOSE: To remove a plurality of stains from a conveyor belt at a time with a single cleaner by contacting a cleaning brush and an oil removing roll having an oil squeezer thereon under pressure with a surface of the moving conveyor belt by means of a balance weight.

CONSTITUTION: A belt cleaner is provided below a circulating belt 5. A cleaning brush 4 and an oil removing roll 16 of the belt cleaner which are driven by a motor 10 through respective chains 3, 15 are contacted under pressure with a surface of the belt 5 by means of arms 23 to which an upward force is applied by means of a balance weight 2. Accordingly, metal pieces or the like adhering to the belt 5 can be removed therefrom by rotation of the cleaning brush 4 while oil adhering to the belt 5 can be removed therefrom by means of the oil removing roll 16 and the oil squeezing roll 18.
