To make remnants and water difficult to be collected on the rear surface of a steel belt by laying an endless steel belt between a pair of forwarding front and rear pulleys, providing a guide rail of a row in the longitudinal direction on the rear surface and guiding the guide rail by the pulleys.
A steel belt 6 is laid between pulleys 9 and 10 arranged before and behind a freezing chamber 2. In the pulleys 9 and 10, grooves are formed in the outer peripheries. By the grooves, the guide rail 8 on the rear surface of the steel belt is guided and the steel belt 6 does not meander. A product 7 to be freezed which is placed on the steel belt 6 is carried within the freezing chamber 3 by the driving of the pulleys and the product 7 is cooled and freezed by cold air from coolers 4 and 4 and air blowers 3 and 3 which is brown out from a slit between partition plates 5 and 5. Water and remnants generated from a product to be freezed during a freezing operation or washing draining at the time of washing the inside of the freezing chamber flows to the left and right sides of the steel belt 6 from the rear surface (upper surface) of the lower side running part of the steel belt 6.
