PURPOSE: To reduce rate of power consumption as well as to prevent the occurrence of zigzag eccentric running or turning over and slippage, by constituting a belt, having such a magnet that has disposed magnetic poles in the same direction at the backside, so as to be supported by repelling power in a way of suspending it on a magnet plate row in the same magnetic pole.
CONSTITUTION: Magnetic poles of a magnet are arranged and converged in the same direction, thereby forming a flexible, pliable magnet belt 2 which is attached to the backside of a conveyor belt 3. A guide rail 4 is fitted in a side edge of this conveyor belt 3, and, making the magnet 2 upside down, and it is endlessly suspended on pulleys 6 and 6' of a frame body 5. On the other hand, magnet plates 7 are set up in this frame body 5 at regular intervals in having the same magnetic pole opposed to the magnetic pole of the magnet 2. With this constitution, the belt 3 is supported by repelling power between the magnet 2 and these magnetic plates 7. Therefore, rate of power consumption is reduced and zigzag eccentric running and turning over are all preventable, thus reliability in a belt conveyor is improved.
