Abstract:
To provide a belt drive device and ink jet printer which can reduce the number of components.SOLUTION: A belt drive device 20 comprises: a belt 21 which moves a carriage fixed to itself with the conveyance of itself; a pulley 23 around which the belt 21 is wound; a link member 30 which has a rotational shaft support part 31 for supporting a rotational shaft 23a of the pulley 23; and a rail attachment member 24 which supports the link member 30 such that the link member 30 can move in the rotation direction indicated by an arrow 30a around a shaft 25 in parallel with the rotational shaft 23a. The link member 30 comprises a leaf spring 32 which biases the rotational shaft support part 31 for biasing the tension to the belt 21 through the pulley 23 supported by the rotational shaft support part 31. The rotational shaft support part 31 and the leaf spring 32 are integrally formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
