Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt for electrophotography which has a conductive layer having high conductivity, suppresses occurrence of cracking of a conductive layer over a long period of time, and can be stably used for formation of an electrophotographic image.SOLUTION: A belt for electrophotography has at least a base layer and a conductive layer, where the conductive layer contains an acrylic resin as a binder, carbon black and polyether ester amide, a hydroxyl value of the acrylic resin is 20-120 mgKOH/g, a content of the carbon black in the conductive layer is 10-18 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the acrylic resin in the conductive layer, and when in infrared absorption spectrum of the polyether ester amide, absorbance of a C-O bond derived from an ether group is represented by A, absorbance of a C=O bond derived from an amide group is represented by B and absorbance of a C=O bond derived from an ester group is represented by C, an intensity ratio [A/(A+B+C)] is 0.05-0.43.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
